The Various Methods of Penis Enlargement

There are several techniques which are known to work for enlarging the penis. All are based upon introducing tension into the tissues of the penis. The most popular techniques are weight hanging, extender devices and manual exercise.

Weight Hanging

This technique is performed using either a clamp-based or vacuum-based device to grip the penis. Once the device is placed on the penis, weights are attached to the device. The weights are often rigged using pulleys so as to pull the penis in various directions. Standing with weights hanging between the legs or sitting using a pulley system under a desk are the most common.

You must remain fairly still during this procedure. It’s difficult to state how much weight and how many “sets” are required to achieve appreciable enlargement. It is usually recommended to accumulate at least 10 hours weekly. Also, the amount of weight is gradually increased over time.

Users of clamp-based devices report mild to extreme discomfort and various injuries. Vacuum-based is usually more comfortable, but users report lymphatic fluid build-up and sudden blistering as their leading problems. This isn’t to suggest a suitable technique can’t be learned, but most men find this process too inconvienent to be effective.

Extender Devices

The most prevalent devices are noose and strap designs. This is due primarily to the lucrative affiliate programs offered by the makers of many of these devices. Webmasters are enticed by the commissions being paid. It’s not uncommon to pay as much as $350 USD for a noose or strap design.

But this technique is flawed. The penis and pubic area cannot endure the pain and discomfort created by their use. Their “one-size-fits-all” design translates to “one-size-hurts-all”. The design is more of a gimmick than a working, usable device. Men who see these devices for the first time are tricked: the device concept makes sense, and the websites promise total comfort. But these devices are well-known to be very uncomfortable.

One maker sold noose designs for several years - insisting on its safety and comfort. They also insisted on full medical approvals for their design. Recently they switched to a strap design and now state that the noose is dangerous. In other words - sales were dropping for their $389 noose design.

On the surface, the strap appears better than the noose, but it's actually the same old story: discomfort. The majority of the tension ends up at the leading edge of the strap. This ultimately produces the same effects as the noose.

Users of these devices report pain at the glans of the penis and discomfort at the base of the penis - most notably the skin at the top of the testicles. It’s estimated that over 95% of men who purchase noose or strap designs give up wearing them within two weeks of the purchase. Those who are able to persevere have modified the device in numerous ways. Modifications significantly increase the amount of time for application and removal.

Noose devices use surgical tubing - which was never designed to introduce tension by being wrapped around skin. Strap designs use rubber or hard silicone - neither of which is very skin-friendly. The fastening technique for straps is cumbersome: in order to introduce the necessary tension the strap must be tight, but making the strap tight causes circulation problems and pain.

Other fastening styles include leg straps and waist-belts. Our engineers tested leg-belts for four months with 10-hour per day usage and found it accomplished only skin growth. This was likely due to the cyclic-tension effect a leg-strap produces. Skin reacts quickly to cyclic stretching. It’s our belief the waist-belt concept is a waste of time, but is appealing because it’s very concealable. Tension is difficult to adjust and maintain. Without significant tension this technique is far more trouble than using our Light-Duty Stretcher in either of its tension capabilities.

Other complications with most of these devices include: falling off without warning, setting off metal detectors, an inability to urinate while wearing, extreme discomfort during mild erection, an inability to wear the device for the recommended times, inconsistent tension and inconvenience.

Time is the most important aspect of extender usage. Since the devices deliver such low tension they must be worn for long periods of time. This is the reason comfort is ultimately the biggest issue.

Manual Exercise

Using manual exercise can be very effective. But you must also be diligent and consistent. It’s not unlike going to the gym to workout. The amount of time required for manual exercise varies wildly. The single most popular exercise is known as the “jelq”. This is a slow milking process which is usually performed hundreds of times per set.

Other exercises include different forms of stretching. They usually vary only by gripping style and are focused on inducing ligament stretch.

Men who use these exercises must learn which techniques are effective for them. It’s common to learn about an exercise which helped one man enlarge, while it did nothing for another.

While we do trust the effectiveness of manual exercise, we feel it’s the most complicated form of Penis Enlargement - with seemingly endless subtle nuances. To further aggravate this, the amount of time dedicated to it per day can be as great as 2 hours. Or as little as 15 minutes three times a day, or 2 hours one day - rest the next day, or 1 hour per day - never rest, or... Other Techniques

Attaching circular weights to the penis shaft is another form of an extender device. The problem with this technique is that gravity must also be employed - the weights assert tension by gravity.

Some products suggest by using certain metals to induce current through the penis tissue will spur growth. In order to form a circuit with these metals, they must have certain proximity. Since the penis separates these metals they are rendered incapable of producing current. Further, if any current were produced it would find the path of least resistance and would certainly not affect much tissue. Note also that skin resistance is in the Meg-Ohms. A 12-volt car battery will not flow current through you due to this resistance, so what would a 1-volt charge accomplish?

Some metals and magnets are also marketed as increasing penis length and girth. In the case of a metal, it’s our belief if a metal were capable of enlarging the penis it would already be an ancient technique - known the world over. But of course, it makes no sense: the penis tissue is found all over the body, how do the other tissues remain unaffected? With regard to magnets, the human body is largely unaffected by magnetic fields. Magnetic flux affects only ferrous materials: iron, nickel and cobalt.

Pills and patches are simply frauds. The tissues which comprise the penis are found all over the human body. The chemicals from pills and patches circulate throughout your entire body. It would be impossible for a chemical to “know” which tissues are to be enlarged and which should be left alone. Many makers of these products state the chemicals increase blood flow to the penis. This is simply silly. If they increase any blood flow, they’d have to be increasing all blood flow. This can be accomplished only by raising heart rate. This is the reason many pills and patches carry a warning label for those with heart conditions - and the reason many men report uncomfortable side-effects. You can achieve this same effect by increasing Niacin (Vitamin B-3)consumption (within safe levels) and/or exercising.

The differences between the methods are the amount of tension, the time required, comfort, and convenience.
